Paradisus
A crafted expression of architectural storytelling through material and form.
One of the most compelling projects I undertook during my time at B+H, this commemorative book was brought to life over an intensive eight-week period, requiring close collaboration across disciplines to meet a tight deadline with refined execution.
Every design detail was thoughtfully curated, drawing inspiration directly from the architectural and interior language of the Paradisus Villa. The box cover features a subtle, debossed pattern—a nod to the traditional woven textures found throughout the property—while the main book cover showcases an intricately embossed floor plan of the villa’s main level. This fusion of form and meaning serves as a tactile expression of spatial storytelling.
Project detailsConceptually rich and fast-tracked: Completed in just 8 weeks, the book draws inspiration from the architecture and interiors of the Paradisus Villa, with every detail rooted in the design language of the space.
Material-driven storytelling: Features include a debossed woven pattern, embossed floor plan, royal blue linen, and bronze foil—merging the identities of B+H Architects and CHIL Design.
Layered presentation and craftsmanship: Housed in a raphe-style box echoing the villa’s spatial design, the hand-bound book includes a visible saddle-stitched spine and silk offset-printed pages.

Material choices were equally deliberate. The royal blue linen wrap and bronze foil accents reflect the visual identity of both B+H Architects and CHIL Design, establishing a harmonious dialogue between the two brands. The palette and textures evoke a sense of restrained luxury, balancing modern elegance with cultural nuance.
The book is housed in a raphe-style presentation box, conceptually mirroring the villa’s layered design—where lifting the lid reveals a ‘hidden garden,’ an intimate metaphor for discovery and retreat. Inside, the hand-bound volume features a visible saddle-stitched spine and silk offset-printed pages, emphasizing craftsmanship and material authenticity.
This project stands as a celebration of design integration, where architecture, interior design, and brand storytelling converge in printed form.
